Ajay Bhatt was born on September 6, 1957. He was born in Baroda, a city in Gujarat. After getting his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, he moved to the United States. In 1990, he was hired at Intel, where he would amass over 130 patents. His most important invention, the USB, was not patented.
